How The Clinic Works

What to Expect

At Annapurna Naturopathic Women's Health Care Clinic we endeavor to provide you with the highest quality of naturopathic care available today. This means that your appointment times are long enough and detailed enough to obtain a complete health profile. We provide you with the tools and means to help you tackle your particular health concern(s) as well as the support and information you need at every step of the way.

Your First Visit
Your first visit is about an hour in duration where a thorough health history is constructed as well as necessary steps taken to prepare an accurate health profile. Laboratory diagnostic testing maybe required at this stage. The intake process will examine such aspects as: physical, mental and emotional health as well as include a physical examination.

How to Book Your First Appointment
The easiest way to book your first appointment is to do so on-line here. You can also book by phone at 416-877-0474. Email us any questions you may have to info@annapurnanaturopathic.com.

The Treatment Plan: Your Template to Health
After your first visit, a comprehensive treatment plan is carefully prepared to address your specific health concerns as well as your future health goals. All of the issues discussed during the first visit are addressed. Upon the time of your second visit, a review of treatment options is presented including a detailed treatment plan. Follow-up visits are scheduled to track progress, or address any additional health concerns that come up. Most treatment plans begin with dietary and lifestyle recommendations, since they form the base of overall good health. Later on, other modalities of treatment are used such as homeopathy, herbal medicine, stress-reduction techniques, acupuncture and additional nutritional supplements. »Read more about our approach...

What Happens After You Are Treated At Our Clinic
Once your initial concerns have been resolved we move onto preventative health care and health maintenance. This includes a close examination of family history, and risk factors for diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes or osteoporosis. Here7, our goal is to support a healthy lifestyle and provide education for ways of preventing future disease. Health maintenance includes regular motivation so that you can continue with your healthy lifestyle (eating well, exercise, relaxation), yearly detoxification / revitalization programs, and addressing any additional health concerns that arise. Visits for health maintenance are generally once every 1-3 months.
